"Everything in the starry sky rotates, through millions of years..." The opening melody of 'Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel' evokes childhood memories for many viewers from the 1970s and 1980s. This classic magical girl anime, with character designs by Takemiya Keiko, features the ordinary girl Mami transforming into the idol Creamy Mami—outwardly a dazzling sixteen-year-old idol, yet inwardly still a naive ten-year-old girl. Takemiya Keiko's unique pastel visual language—girls dancing and spinning on stage, long wisteria-purple hair flowing with the music—has become the most profound animation imprint in the public's mind.

Takemiya Keiko once said that her work is to materialize 'happiness.' Her creative career spans nearly half a century, from 'Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel' to 'Patlabor,' fulfilling the fantasies of countless boys and girls. Following the grand exhibition in Taipei, the 'Takemiya Keiko World Masterpieces Exhibition' Hong Kong station will soon open at the Harbour City Art Gallery, running from October 28 to November 29, 2026. This exhibition will rotate displays in two phases, showcasing over sixty original artworks and prints, including representative works such as 'Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel,' 'Patlabor,' and 'World Tree,' allowing visitors to closely observe her creative trajectory spanning fantasy and realism. The venue will also feature multiple globally exclusive collectible commemorative products, including Takemiya Keiko's personally signed commemorative bookplates and masterpieces commemorative calendars.

Even more exceptionally, Takemiya Keiko will personally visit Hong Kong to attend signing sessions and creative lectures, engaging in close interaction with on-site audiences and sharing her creative journey firsthand—an opportunity not to be missed.
